DJ Meals...

I used to do bar-work at HOME NIGHTCLUB in Sydney. Then around the same time I started to learn to DJ cause I have always loved trance music. I was a little raver when I was 18-22... A lot of my print designs are inspired by my days as a raver, and my love of loud colours and sci-fi like futuristic materials. Shiny! hehe all comes from this sub-culture. I even wrote a really interesting dissertation on the subject for uni which I think I may post up here... I got a Distinction for it... thats huge for me!

Anyway the point of this post was just to show a few little pics that have happy memories of when I had the guts to get up and play in front of people!

This is a really cool site, it tracks all the music you play and compiles lists of your fave artists and tracks over the week, month & year. I find it really interesting to see how my taste changes over time. I've been using it for a few years so it really shows me an interesting profile of my music taste. Also really good for discovering new music and people who like the same music you do!

Track Of The Week...

 Labtracks - Together...
This was difficult to find - I first heard it on Flash Brothers "Da Flash_13-10-10 ". So its a little old but just so pretty and relaxing. Love the tech/prog stuff atm. I picture myself driving to the beach on a hot summers day with the windows down and blasting this out the speakers :)

"Labtracks is a two-man collaboration project between Finnish producers Jarkko Saikkonen & Miikka Vaartela, both of them born in 1988. They have known each other since childhood and been making music over 8 years now. But the alias Labtracks wasn’t created until the beginning of 2005 when the guys decided to make music together more seriously.
